The Student Michigan Association of Planning (SMAP) Conference is an opportunity for planning students at universities throughout the state to learn about new planning research and best practices, get career advice, and network with planning professionals.
This year's program is crafted with input from planning students at Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University, Eastern Michigan University, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University.
This year's schedule:
8:30am - 9:30am: Registration and Networking, Breakfast
9:30am - 10:30am: Welcome and Keynote Presentation
10:40am - 11:50am: Professional Presentations and Student Presentations
11:50am - 12:50pm: Lunch
12:50am - 2:00pm: Professional Presentations
2:00pm - 3:30pm: Roundtable Networking and Mentoring
If you are interested in participating in the speed interviews this year: Don't wait to register! The first 24 students to indicate they are interested in participating will receive priority on reserving a spot.
