The Michigan Association of Planning (MAP) is the Michigan Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA). MAP supports our student members by providing education and networking opportunities throughout the year (such as the Student MAP Conference). Joining APA and MAP is free for students. WTS Michigan Chapter Scholarship (Deadline: 12/16): More information
"The local WTS Michigan Chapter is supporting four scholarships for deserving women in Michigan!  Three undergraduate scholarships (one being for Junior College/Trade School) between $1,000-$2,000 each and two graduate scholarships at $2,500 each.  The women that win at the local level are automatically entered at the International level for their chance at scholarships with even higher values!  Details of each scholarship are on the first page of each application."
American Planning Association: Emerging Planners Network (12/17 1:30PM EST): More information
"APA is excited to announce its new webinar series, the Emerging Planners Network. Tailored specifically for students, this series features expert panelists from APA's chapters and divisions, each session focusing on different topics based on your interests and needs." 
APA Economic Development Division Holzheimer Scholarship (Expected Deadline: 1/20): More information
"The scholarship is named in memory of longtime APA member and economic development visionary, Dr. Terry Holzheimer of Arlington County, Virginia and Virginia Tech. The $2,000 award is a scholarship provided by the APA’s Economic Development Division. Winners are strongly encouraged but not required to use the award money to support attendance at the APA National Planning Conference. The application materials should include an original student paper or work that is 2,500 words or less (including citations and footnotes), and must include the name and contact information of a faculty member involved in supervising the student and/or the submitted work."
Catalyst Leadership Circle Fellowship (Deadline: 1/29): More information
