Tammy Girling
Charter Township of Orion

For more than two decades she has dedicated her career to advancing thoughtful, community-centered planning that has helped shape Orion Township. Starting in the assessing profession, Tammy has held roles in parks and recreation, planning commission/zoning board of appeals coordinator, to Planning and Zoning Director of the Township for the past 10 years.

One letter of support writer noted, "I have found Tammy to be helpful, insightful, accessible, demanding, but fair." Another noted, "I can say that each project, large or small, was significantly better at the end of the process because of Tammy’s insight, knowledge, and insistence on always doing what is best for the entire community."
