Safe Routes to School Regional Training

The SRTS Regional Trainings offers the opportunity to connect, build relationships, and support Safe Routes to School stakeholders statewide. The hands-on sessions will help you build or sustain a SRTS project. Presentations include best practices and success stories from some of Michigan’s most innovative SRTS projects.

Session topics include:

  • Using Community Assets to Navigate the Planning Process
  • Building Sustainable District-Wide Safe Routes to School Programs with Policy and Partnerships
  • Students at the Center: Youth Engagement and Leadership with Safe Routes to School
  • Safe Routes to School in Rural Communities

Trainings are free and include a light lunch. Registration is required as space is limited. The deadline to register for training is Monday, September 16.
