Supervisor Stumbo's support of planning is reflected in her leadership on some of Ypsilanti Township’s most important long-range planning efforts, including the 2020 Township Master Plan, the 2022 Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, and the Ecorse and E. Michigan Avenue Placemaking Plan. Every decision Brenda makes is viewed through the lens of what is in the best interest of her community. That principle has defined her leadership and is evident in the way she approaches planning, investment, development, and public policy.
Jurors observed that Supervisor Stumbo's record presented reflects a strong commitment to planning and positive community impact over more than three decades of public service.
