Social Equity Survey

Take the Survey!

The MAP Social Equity committee, assisted by Dr. Carolyn G. Loh of Wayne State University, is studying how planners view equity in planning and what kinds of knowledge they would like to have as they work to make Michigan cities and communities good places to live and work for all people.

We want to understand how MAP members view equity, how they work with elected and appointed officials on equity issues, and what types of new knowledge about current and future equitable planning policies would be most useful to members. The MAP Social Equity Committee will use the survey results to create a report shared with members about planning for equity. We will also use what we learn from this survey to drive future research to aid members in equity planning and policy. We don’t expect everyone feels the same way about these complex issues: whatever your thoughts on or experiences with planning for equity, we are interested in hearing from you.

The survey should only take 10-15 minutes
